I find all this stuff a very controlling and effective way of making women obsess over their weight, instead of exploiting their more important attributes, such as intellect, strength and power.” Model Robyn Lawley

Robyn Lawley is part of the new generation of models who has decided to change the rules of the game. The rules for today are as follows:

There is no space for glamorous diva’s such as Marilyn Monroe and Kate Winslet, only the super-skinny underweight, often facing extreme diets, asparagus-like models are dominating the scenes. The latter are known as having an aesthetic-figure defined as “heroin-chic”: a starved, smudged-eye look of available derangement.

Consequently, we find ourselves not surprised when a 10 year old worries, that her ass is too fat, her breasts are too flat and her skin is too dark. Indeed, if media communicates how women should be, by using pictures of minors that are underweight, and often facing unhealthy diets, to the extent of killing themselves, we create an unhealthy standard in our society. We have come to accept sick as normal and normal as over-sized.

Accept? We at REglam no longer do so. Let’s change the rules of the game.

We at REglam are observing a trend worldwide, which has decided to unite, to stand up and say: “STOP! We are more than bones!” It is time to change the status quo into a healthy and women-friendly standard.

With this attitude, REglam came alive and decided to glorify real women as fashion models. Amplifying the fact that women are diverse, in shapes and sizes. We adhere to healthy and positive role models as the ideal beauty of women.

Stay tuned, as this is the start of a beautiful and powerful journey!
